Savvio 10K.5 FC drives suppo rt the Fibre Cha nnel Arbitr ated Loop and SCSI Fibre Channel Protocol specifica- tions to the extent described in this manual.

Each level may consist of multiple st eps, where a step is defined as a re covery function involving a single re- read or re-write a t tempt.

Simp ly plug the drive into the ho st’s 40-pin Fibre Channel backpanel connector (FC-SCA) no cables are required.
