3 BA TTER Y CHARGER CONTROLS The SE-82-6 and SE-3002 battery charger has a selector switch and an ammeter for reading AMP's. FIGURE 3 shows the charger controls. CHARGE RA TE AND VOL T AGE SWITCH SETTINGS For 12 volt batteries either 2 or 6 amp charge rate may be se- lected.

5 NEGA TIVE GROUNDED POST 5A. For negative-grounded vehicle, connect POSITIVE (RED) clip from battery charger to POSITIVE (POS, P , +) ungrounded post of battery . Connect NEGA TIVE (BLACK) clip to vehicle chas- sis or engine block away from battery .
6 MAINTENANCE/CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS V ery little maintenance is required for the battery charger . Follow common sense in wiping the charger clean and store in a clean, dry area. 1. After use, wipe all battery corrosion and other dirt or oil from clip, cord, and the charger case.
