• 3 • IN ST ANT P OW ER 4. ™ LOCA TI ON RISK OF EXPLOSION AND CONT ACT WITH BA TTERY ACID. Locate the Instant Power™ as far away 4.1 from the battery as the DC cables permit. Never place the Instant Power™ 4.2 directly above the battery being jumped; gas es from the battery will corrode and damage the Instant Power™.

• 5 • If the 12V DC device draws more than 15A or has a short circuit, the internal 4. circuit breaker of the Instant Power™ will trip and disconnect the power to the device. Disconnect the 12V DC device. The breaker will automatically reset after an overload occurs.
• 6 • Do not use and/or store the Instant Power™ in or on any area or surface where damage could occur if the internal battery should unexpectedly leak acid.
