ix English Deleting files 1 On the scr een in step 2, move the orange fr ame to the file you wish to delete, and pres s the [ ? ] button. 2 Select “DELETE SINGLE”, and press the SET button. h If you pr ess [ G ] or [ H ], the scree n to delete a diff erent file will appear .

English 8 SETUP ABOUT THE B A TTER Y AND THE CARD About rechar ging Recharging tak es place only when the camera is t urned off, or when the pow er sav e function or the sleep function has been activ ated. Recharging does not take pla ce when the camera is in the record ing mode or pla yback mode.

English 12 SETUP T urning on the camera wh en the powe r save (sleep) mo de is act ive In order to preserve battery pack po wer , the power sav e (sleep) function will automatica lly turn off the camera after about 2 minute s of no use during shooting, or a bout 2 min utes of no use during play back.
13 English CA UTION If the K icon app ears... i When a picture is tak en, the date and ti me it was capture d are recorded with it. If the date and time settings hav e not been completed (page 14), the date and time cannot be recor ded with the captured images .
English 14 SETUP D A TE AND TIME SETTING When the camera is first turned on after purchase , the Clock Set Screen appears. Proceed from ste p 4 to set the date and time . 1 Pres s the ON/OFF button to turn on the camera. 2 Pres s and hold the [ ? ] button for at least 1 second.
15 English HINT i Under normal conditions, while the batt ery pack is being replaced, an internal battery will maintain the date and time settings. Howe v er , there is a small chance the set tings ma y be lost (the back up will last f or about 7 days).
