4. SELF-DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE After turning on power to the air conditioner, use the remote controller and follow the steps below to execute self- diagnostics. Step 1: Press and hold the remote controller NIGHT SET BACK (NSB) button and 1 HR TIMER button.

7 3. Adjusting the F an Speed A. A utoma tic fan speed Simply set the F AN SPEED se lector button to the position. This automatically sets the best fan speed for the room temperature. B. Manual fa n speed If you w ant to adjust fan speed manually during operation, just set the F AN SPEED selector button as desired.

9 USING THE 1-HOUR OFF TIMER 1. 1-Hour OFF Timer This function causes the unit to operate f or one hour and then stop, regar dless of whether the unit is on or off when this butto n is pressed. The indicator in the displa y indicates that this function i s operating.

I Installing the connection kit A. 7000 BTU, 9000 BTU, and 12000 BTU inverter models (1) Remove the air intake grille. (2) Remove the terminal cover . Pull out the thermistor , then remove the grille. • For details on steps (1) and (2), refer to the Installation Instructions included in the outdoor unit package.
(10) Pass the wire tube through the clamping strap, and temporarily fasten in place with the screw . Next, use a clamp and bind the wires together immediately above the clamping strap, and fasten in place with the screw in order to prevent pulling on the wire harness.
