OPERA TION 21 Operation with tape Playing a tape Y ou will only be able to load and eject video cassettes when your DVD+VCR is plugged into the mains. Y our DVD+VCR may also play back recordings from NTSC tapes (on P AL TV).
22 Operation with tape The DVD+VCR allows you to make recordings using a variety of simple methods: Quick Set Recording (QSR) : Start recording immedi- ately for a set period of time or until the video cassette runs out. VIDEO Plus+ System Recording greatly simplifies entering the date, channel, start and end times of a T imer Recording.
Operation with tape OPERA TION 23 VIDEO Plus+ ® System recording VIDEO Plus+ System greatly simplifies entering the date, channel, start and end times of a T imer recording by simply entering a PlusCode programming number . The PlusCode programming number is published in most TV guide magazines; they can vary from one to nine numbers in length.

The DVD+VCR will now go into P AUSE mode. 2 With a DVD, you can advance the picture frame by frame by pressing P AUSE/STEP ( X ) repeatedly on the remote control.
28 Operation with DVD and Video CD General Features (continued) Zoom The Zoom function allows you to enlarge the video image and to move through the enlarged image. 1 Press ZOOM during playback or still playback to acti- vate the Zoom function. If you press ZOOM repeatedly , the magnification level increases up to six times.

30 Programmed Playback VCD1.1 VCD2.0 MP3 CD Programmed Playback with Audio CD and MP3 Discs Programme allows you to store your favorite tracks for a particular disc in the player memory . Programme can contain 32 tracks (Audio CD) or 60 tracks (MP3 disc).
