EN Thank you f or choosing a Sanus S ystems ceiling mount. The SC1A is designed to mount televisions with a VESA ( Video Electronics Standards Association) hole pattern of 75 mm x 75 mm or 100 mm x 100 mm. I t allows you to tilt the television up to 15° vertically , and swivel 75° horizontally to the left, and 28° horizontally to the right.

6 6901-210089 [H] [E] [A ] 1 EN Step 1: Attach the P illar to the Ceiling The Pillar [A] must be mounted to a wood ceiling joist. Use a high quality stud sensor to locate a joist. It is a good idea to verify the location of the joist with an awl or thin nail.

8 6901-210089 2 EN Step 2: Attach the Monit or Mount to the T elevision Attach the Monitor Mount [B] t o the back of your television using the M4 x 10 mm Scr ews [F] , as shown in Figur e 2. Position the Monitor Mount so that the large side of the tapered hole faces the bottom of the television.

12 6901-210089 [ C] [A ] 4 EN Step 4: Cable Management The television cables may be contained in the channel on the back of the Pillar [A] . Snap the Cable Cover [C] into the grooves along the edge of the channel, as shown in Figures 4a and 4b . Cables can be then routed thr ough the break-awa y tab on the shroud at the top of the Pillar .

Sanus Systems is not responsible for pr oper ty damage and/or personal injury. Remove the Cable C over [ C] from the P illar [A ] , and lift the monitor cables out of the channel on the P illar .
