Advanced Shooting Zooming In and Out ENGLISH 30 ✤ Zoom is only av ailable in CAMERA mode. ✤ Zooming is a technique that lets you magnify the siz e of the subject in the picture. For a more prof essional looking recording, don't use the zoom function too often.
✤ Digital Zoom is only av ailable in CAMERA mode. ✤ Magnification abov e 22x is achiev ed using digital technology . ✤ The picture quality deteriorates as you go tow ards the “T” side. ✤ It is recommend that you use the DIS (VP-L630/L650) f eature with the DIGIT AL ZOOM for picture stability .

ENGLISH 36 Advanced Shooting MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus) ✤ The MF/AF function works only in CAMERA mode. ✤ In most situations, it is better to use the A utomatic Focus f eature, as it enab les you to concentrate on the creative side of y our shooting.

Advanced Shooting PIP(Picture-In-Picture, VP-L630/L650 only) ENGLISH 47 ✤ The PIP(Picture-In-Picture) f eature works in combination with the DIGIT AL ZOOM function b y using a small, super imposed screen to show an image that is wider than the image being shot.
ENGLISH Advanced Shooting Snap Shot (VP-L630/L650 only) ✤ With the SNAP SHO T feature , your camcorder can function like a normal film camera, allowing y ou to take single still pictures . - The SNAP SHOT function only oper ates in CAMERA mode. 1. Set the pow er switch to CAMERA mode.
