10 ? Electrical Connection This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an ele ctrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
11 OPERATING YOUR APPLI ANCE Although your oven is provided with safety features, it is important to observe the following: ? It is important not to defeat or tamper with safety interlocks. ? 16 SETTING CHILD LOCK The safety lock prevents unsupervised operation by children. To set, press and hold RESET for 3 seconds. LOCK is indicated on the display.
