3 Install this refrigerator on a firm, flat surface. Av oid locations affected by dampness . F or optim um operation, normal room tem perature is recommended. A v oid locations in direct sunlight, near heaters, rediators, sto ves or o vens . Allow a 50mm space between the refrigerator and the w all.
4 LEVELING THE APPLIANCE To compensate for any floor une venness , adjust the height of the appliance by turning the adjustable f eet clockwise or countercloc kwise. The adjustab le f eet are at the front along the lower edge of the refrigerator chassis, When the refrigerator leans to the left, turn the left front foot countercloc kwise.
5 - F or optimum operation, do not leav e the door open for any longer than necessary . - Lea ving the door open allows warmer air to enter the refigerator and causes the refrigeration unit to use more energy to maintain the cool temperature. - Do no store v olatile chemicals such as ether and benzene in the refrigerator .
B ASIC PREP ARA TION 6 W ARNING - K eep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or in the b uilt-in str ucture, clear obstruction.. - Do not use mechanical de vices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process. other then those recommended by the manuf acturer .
7 Store food in small portions. Seal food in containers with lids , in plastic wrap or in plastic bags to prev ent dr ying and the min- gling of odors. Allow hot f ood and dr inks to cool to room temperature bef ore placing them in the refrigerator or freezer .
8 Tu rn the T emperature Control to ‘COLDER” if you: - Have a lot of f ood to store (refrigerator or freezer) - W ant to mak e ice(freezer) - Require fast freezer(freez er) Tu rn the T emperature Control to the midwa y point between “COLDER” and “COLD” for nor- mal refrigerating or freezing mode.
9 Fill the ice cube tra y with taking care not to ov erfill. Slide the tra y onto the cube shelf. Removing Ice cubes Remov e the ice cubes from the ice cube tra y by twisting the ice tray lev ers. Make sure the ice storage bin is beneath the ice cube tra y (see diagram below).

11 REMO VING THE A CCESSORIES Freezer Shelf - Pull the ice cube tr ay unit forw ard and of the freezer compartment. - Lift the front of the freez er shelf upward to release the hooks and pull the shelf out of the freezer . Refrigerator Shelves - Pull the shelv es towards you until it meets the stopper .
12 Chiller Compartment (TYPE A) * Depending on model - Pull the chiller compartment towards y ou until it meets the stopper . - Tilt the front upward and contin ue pulling the compar tment out. Rev olve Storage Guard Lift straight upwards to release the tabs , then pull it out of the refrigerator .
Evaporation Slot in Freezer Wipe the slot area with a clean, dry , soft cloth. Caution: Do not allow any f oreign substance or par ticles to clog these openings. Interior P arts After removing all the shelv es, wipe the appliance clean using a clean, soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent.
