Given this inde- pendent system, the freezer and the refrigerator are cooled individual- ly and are, theref ore, more efficient. FRIDGE BUTT ON T o set the fridge temperature, press the button repeatedly to change the set temperature in increments of 1 F between 34°F and 46°F .

13 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS REMO VING THE FREEZER A CCESSORIES • Do not use e xcessive f orce when removing the co ver . It may cause an injur y . Glass Shelf • Pull the shelf out as f ar as it goes. Then lift it and remov e it. Door Bin • Hold the door bin with both hands and then lift it.
14 CLEANING THE A CCESSORIES • Do not spra y the refrigerator with water . It may cause a serious electr ic shock. • Do not clean it with benzene, thinner or car detergent. There is a danger of fire. Rubber door seals • If the rubber door seals are dir ty , the door will not close proper ly .

16 W A TER FIL TER The water “Filter Indicator” light • “Filter Indicator” light lets you know when it is time to change your w ater filter car tr idge. The light will change from green to orange. This tells you that it is almost time to change the current car tridge.

18 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS Remov e the water tube b y pressing the coupler ( ➁ ) and pulling the w ater tube ( ➀ ) a wa y . Remo ving the Front Leg Co ver Separating the W ater Suppl y Line from the Refrigerator Do not cut the water tube.
19 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) With the door closed, remov e the upper hinge cov er ( ➀ ) using a screwdriver , and then disconnect the wires ( ➁ ). 2) Remov e the hinge screws ( ➂ ) and ground screw ( ➃ ) counter-clockwise , and take off the upper hinge ( ➄ ) in the direction of the arrow ( ➅ ).
20 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 3) Remov e the door from the low er hinge ( ➅ ) by lifting the door ( ➆ ). 4) Remov e the lower hinge ( ➇ ) from the brack et ( ➈ ) by lifting the lo wer .
21 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS Reattaching the Freezer Door REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) Inser t the lower hinge ( ➀ ) in the low er hinge brac ket ( ➁ ). 2) Reattach the freezer door b y inser ting the hose ( ➂ ) in the low er side of the door into the hole in the lower hinge ( ➃ ) and pulling the hose down.
22 REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS Reattaching the Refrigerator Door 1) Inser t the lower hinge ( ➀ ) in the lower hinge brac ket( ( ➁ ). 2) Align the hole in the refrigerator door ( ➂ ) with the lower hinge ( ➃ ). 3) Inser t the upper hinge shaft ( ➄ ) into the hole ( ➅ ).

Reattaching the W ater Supply Line Reattaching the Fr ont Leg Co ver T ube must be fully inser ted to the marked line to av oid leaks.

26 CHECKING THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE 1) F or the ice maker to operate properly , water pressure of 20 ~125 psi is required. In this range , a 170 cc (5.74 ounces) paper cup can be filled in 10 secs . 2) The water filter removes f oreign par ticles. It does not ster ilize or destro y any micro-organisms.
