5 INST ALLING THE FRIDGE / FREEZER Allow adequate space and install the fridge/freezer on a firm, level floor . • If the appliance is not le vel, there ma y be unusual noises and poor cooling. • W ait f or at least one hour before plugging the appliance in.
6 PREP ARING THE FRIDGE / FREEZER Install all shelves and compartments remov ed during transpor t and place them in the correct position. Y ou are advised to clean the appliance and accessories before s witching the appliance on f or the first time to remov e any dust that accumulated during packing and shipping.
7 USING THE CONTR OL FEA TURES Freezer T emperature button Sets the freezer temper ature. Press this button repeatedly to change the temperature in sequence betw een -14°F and 8°F .

9 ST ORING FOOD IN THE FRIDGE OR FREEZER When storing food in the appliance, follo w the recommendations below . • Allo w warm food and be ver ages to cool down bef ore storing them in the appliance. • Ensure that f ood is well-wrapped or co vered bef ore it is stored.

11 REMO VING AND CLEANING A CCESSORIES Ice storage bin • Place a hand in the low er groov e, then pull the ice stor age bin forw ard. • Remo ve the ice storage bin and rinse it in water and then dry completely .
12 REPLA CING INTERIOR LIGHTS Unscrew the co ver with a Philips-head screwdriver . Alwa ys unplug the appliance from the po wer supply fir st before replacing the fridge light. Otherwise, there is the danger of electric shock. - Incandescent light • T urn the interior light to remove and replace it with a ne w one.
- W ater line Kit and water filter are not co vered b y Samsung W arranty and manuf acturer(or dealer , installer) of them should be responsible f or the def ect and all the loss caused by w ater filter & water line kit . - Filter should be replaced according to manuf acturer (or dealer)'s instruction.
14 - Connect the plastic line on the back of y our fr idge to the outlet of car tridge holder (inser t plastic line to the car tridge holder outlet until its limit) - Inser t plastic clip to the car tridge holder inlet and outlet. - T urn water on and check f or any leak ege.

Empty all door guards / rac ks. 1. After removing the screw , disassemble the Upper Right Hinge Cov er .
