30 _ operating the oven SETTING THE CL OCK The clock must be set to the correct time of day for the aut omatic oven timing functions to work properly . The clock can be adjusted to show a 12-hour or 24-hour display . The 12-hour display is the default setting.
operating the oven _ 31 OPERA TING THE OVEN SETTING THE TIMER ON/OFF The kitchen timer serves as an extra timer that beeps when the set time has elapsed. It does not start or stop cooking functions. The feature can be used at the same time as any other oven functions.
32 _ operating the oven POSITIONING THE OVEN RA CKS The oven racks ar e removable and can be positioned in any of the seven oven rack positions. Each oven r ack has a built-in stop t o prevent it from accidentally being pulled completely out. P roper positioning of the oven racks will pr ovide the best cooking results.
operating the oven _ 33 OPERA TING THE OVEN T o remove an oven r ack: 1. Pull the r ack straight out until it stops. 2. Lift the front of the oven r ack and pull to remove it from the oven. T o replace an oven r ack: 1. Place the back edge of the rack on the desired r ack supports.
34 _ operating the oven BAKING The Bake function lets you progr am the oven to bake at any temper ature between 150 °F (66 °C) and 550 °F (288 °C). How to set the oven temper ature 1. P osition the oven rack in the desired location. 2. Pr ess the BAKE pad.
operating the oven _ 35 OPERA TING THE OVEN If your baking results ar e not what you are used to, the preset oven cooking t emperature can be adjust ed ±30 °F (±17 °C) as follows: 1. Pr ess and hold the BAKE and 0 pads for 3 seconds. The display will show AdJ and 0 .
36 _ operating the oven TIMED COOKING The Cook Time function lets you pr ogram the oven to cook food at a set t emperature for a desired length of time. At the end of the set time, the oven will aut omatically shut o. Use caution when using the Cooking Time or Delay S tart functions.

38 _ operating the oven DELA Y TIMED COOKING The Delay Start function lets you use the kitchen timer to aut omatically start and stop another cooking progr am (Bake). Delay Start can be set before other cooking operations for up to 12 hours. The clock must be set t o the correct time of day for Delay Start to work properly .

40 _ operating the oven BROILING The Broil function allows you to cook and br own foods using only a top heat source. The oven door must remain closed during broiling. The meat or fish should always be placed on a broiling grid in a broiling pan. If a fire occurs during broiling, leave the oven door closed and turn o the oven.

42 _ operating the oven KEEP WARM The Keep W arm function allows you to keep cooked foods warm at a low baking temper ature. The Keep Warm featur e keeps cooked food warm for serving up to 3 hours after cooking has finished. Aft er 3 hours, the feature automatically shuts o the oven.

The oven will operat e at the set temperatur e and stay on until the Sabbath function is cancelled or the set Cook Time has elapsed.
