CT-5060 User Guide P. 4 Valet Mode The system can be placed in Val et Mode to disab le the remote starting capabil ities. If the vehicle needs to be serviced, or if you park it indoors, the Valet Mode will prevent the engine from being remote-started accidentally.
P. 5 User Guide CT-5060 In an emergency situation, you can activate Pan ic Mode using the LOCK or UNLOCK button. This will: • Shut down the engine, • Unlock the doors (if UNLOCK is pressed) • Or lock the door (if LOCK is pressed), • Disarm the Starter Kill and • Activate the siren for 1 minute.
CT-5060 User Guide P. 6 Priority Door Access This safety feature lets you unlock only the driver’s door when you press the UNLOCK button on the transmitter, and then UNLOCK the rest of the vehicle doors if the UNLOCK button is pressed for a second time within 3 seconds.
P. 7 User Guide CT-5060 Passive or Active Arming By default, the system is configured to Passive Arming Mode . In Passive Arming Mode, the Starter Kill and the Alarm will automatically arm 30 seconds after the last door is closed. The system will not arm itself if a door is left open.
CT-5060 User Guide P. 8 Ignition Re-Lock When the Ignition-Controlled Door Locks option is enabled and the ignition is ON , should any door be unlocked and opened, all the doors will be re-locked next time the brake pedal is pressed. Secure Lock This is an added security feature.
Car Finder When enabled, the Car Finder option will help you locate your vehicle by sen ding a pulsating signal through the horn or the siren. To hear the signal, press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously. This will produce a pulsating signal for the time you keep the buttons pressed.
