9 CHAPTER 4 OPERA TION PROCEDURES 1 Getting St arted with your machine Please assure the following instructions before you switch o n the machine: 1.1 V oltage check: Before power cable i s connect ed, please check the voltage of this applian ce against the supply .

15 CHAPTER 6 HARD DRIVE INST ALLA TION PROCEDURES 1. Hard drive jumpers need to be set prop erly in order to make DVR function co rrectly . 2. Instructions below are for second hard drive inst a llation. If you prefer to have only one drive, pl ease ignore instruction below .

Hooking up IDE cable and powe r cable to the hard drive as picture belo w , please take a note on that the red line on IDE cable must be next to pow er cable in order to have correct instillation. 6. This DVR support s maxima 2 hard drives, please t a ke a note on cable length that you use to hook up with the hard drive.
