68 U ser L ogin Launching the programme displays the user log in window. The initial login ID ( passwor d : admin ) and password ( Auto Log in : admin ) are set to admin . ― After logging in for the first time , mak e sure to change the passwor d to ensure security .
69 A u to S et ID Auto Set ID f eature assigns a Set ID f or all the LFDs connected in daisy-chain of a selec ted connection. There can be a maximum of 100 LFDs in a connection. The Set ID is assigned sequentially in the daisychain running from 1 t o 99, and then finally to Set ID 0.
70 Cloning Using the Cloning featur e, you can copy the setting of one LFD and apply it t o multiple selected LFDs. Y ou can select specific tab categories or all tab categories for cloning, using the copy setting option window . ― T o delete the settings you hav e configured, click the Paste Settings button.
71 C ommand Retr y This featur e is used to specify the maximum number of times the MDC command will be retried in case of there being no r eply or a cor rupted reply from an LFD . The retry count value can be set using the MDC options window. The retry count value must be between 1-10.
72 Getting Star ted with MDC 1 T o start the programme, click Start → Programs → Samsung → MDC Unified . The login window appears after the MDC prog ramme is launched. Enter the user ID and password . • The default user ID and password ar e admin .

83 Security Safety Lock • Lock the on-scr een menus. ― T o unlock the menus, set Safety Lock to Off . Button Lock • Lock the buttons on the displa y device. ― T o unlock the buttons, set Butt on Lock to Off . OSD Display Source OSD • Select whether to display a message when the So urce is changed.
84 Time C lock S et Change the current time on the selected display device according to the time set on a PC. If the time is not set on the display device, null values will be displayed. Timer O n T imer • Repeat : Specify the period for which you want to r epeat the selec ted Timer .
85 Holiday Management Holiday Management allows you t o prevent devices that are set t o be powered on b y the Timer fr om turning on at a specified date. ― The Holiday Management function can be enabled or disabled in the Timer settings menu . • Add : Y ou can specify holidays.
86 S creen S aver ― Period (Hour) and T ime (Sec) can be configured when Repeat is selected. ― Start Time and End Time can be configur ed when Inter val is selected. This function prevents screen burn-in when the screen of the selected display device is left idle for an extended period of time.
87 S afety S creen The Saf ety Screen function can be used to prevent screen burn-in when a stationary image displays on the screen of a display device for an extended period of time. L amp C ontrol Lamp Control is used t o adjust the back light to reduce power consumption.

93 Group Management Creating Gr oups Create gr oups and manage the list of sets on a group basis. ― Duplicate group names cannot be used . 1 Right-click and selec t Group Edit in the display device list section on the lef t side of the programme window .
