Y ou can record and edit digital video on DVD-RW/DVD-R discs as if they were VCR tapes. High quality digital audio and video recording and playback Record up to 8-hours of video or images with a 4.

Step 1: Connecting the Antenna Cable There are several ways to connect your DVD Recorder . Select one of the Antenna connections on the following pages. Antenna + DVD Recorder + TV : No Cable box Y ou can record non-scrambled channels by selecting the channel on the DVD Recorder .

C onnecting & Setting Up English - 23 Connecting to an A V amplifier with a digital input jack If your A V amplifier has a Dolby Digital or DTS decoder and a digital input jack, use this connection. T o enjoy Dolby Digital or DTS sound, you will need to set up the audio settings.

Connecting a VCR, Set-T op Box(STB) or DVD Player to the A V 1 IN jacks Connecting a VCR or external device to the A V 1 IN jacks of the DVD Recorder .
C onnecting & Setting Up Connecting a Camcorder to the A V 2 IN jacks Y ou can also use the A V 2 IN jacks on the front panel of the DVD Recorder . Y ou can record from connected equipment, such as a camcorder . When an input source is inserted into A V 2 while watching TV , the input will be switched to A V 2 automatically .
