Installing the batter y in the player 1. Apply thumb pressure to slide the batt er y compartment cover in the direction of the arrow , then remove the cover . 2. Inser t the supplied AAA battery, f ollowing the polarity marks in the battery compar tment.
Connecting to the computer • Rotate the USB plug out of the player body and connect the play er to your PC as shown. • The player will turn on automatically and displa y "USB connected" on the display .

18 Deleting files from the play er Y ou may delete any files transf erred to the player . 1. Connect the player to y our computer . 2. Open the player in Windows Explorer and then navigate t o the folder containing the files. 3. Select the files you want to remove and then pr ess the Delete key on the keyboard of your PC.
