Chapte r 4 83 Disket te Drive Che ckout Do the following to i solate the probl em to a contro ller , driver , or disk ette. A write-e nabled, diagn ostic diskett e is required. Note: Make sure that the disk ette does not have mo re than one la bel attache d to it.
84 T roubl eshoo ti ng Keyboard or Auxiliary Input Devi ce Checkout Remove t he external key board if the inte rnal keyboard is to be tested . If the int ernal keyboard d oes not work or an unexpected ch aracter appears, make sure that the flex ible cabl e extending from the key board is correct ly seated in the conne ctor on the sub card.
Chapte r 4 85 Memo ry C hec kou t DIMM cards are available fo r increasing m emory capacity . Memory erro rs might stop s y stem operatio ns, show error mes sages on the screen, or hang the syst em. 1.
