V entilating Y our Room If the air in your room is stale, you can ventilate the room using the Fan feature. 1 T ur n the SELECT OR and set it to “HI F AN” or “LO W F AN” position. Switching the Air Conditioner Off E- 8 T o switch the unit off , simply set the SELECTOR to the OFF position. Result : The air conditioner stops operating. Y ou can switch the air conditioner off whenever you want. 1 If you wish to save energy when using the air conditioner , select the energy saving mode by using the Energy Saver switch.
E- 9 1 T o stop the blades moving left and right, set the Swing switch to the position. 2 Set the Swing switch to the position. Result: The inner blades s wing automatically left and right.
P ower F ailure T emperature and Humidity Rang es E- 10 If the air conditioner is used at... Then... Higher temperature The automatic protection f eature may be triggered and the air conditioner stopped. Lower temper ature A water leakage or some other malfunction ma y happen if the heat e xchanger freezes.
E- 11 Cleaning Y our Air Conditioner Open the front grille by pulling on the tabs of the unit. 1 Grasp the handle on the air filter and lift it slightly and then out to the front. 2 Remov e all dust on the air filter with a vacuum cleaner or brush. 3 When you ha ve finished, insert the air filter back into its original position.
