3 Disc Markings Region Number Both the DVD player and the discs are coded by region. These regional codes must match in order for the disc to play . If the codes do not match, the disc will not play . The Region Number for this player is described on the rear panel of the player .

8 Selecting the Subtitle Language Using the SUBTITLE / π button (DVD/MPEG4) 1. Press the SUBTITLE / π button. The subtitle languages are repr esented by abbreviations. The subtitle changes when the button is pressed repeatedly . 2. T o remove the SUBTITLE icon, press the SUBTITLE / π button.
