128-7196 3 of 12 arming timer has begun. If the LED does not begin to flash rapidly , then you have left a door , hood, or trunk ajar . Closing this entry point will allow the arming cycle will begin. If any entry point is opened during the 30 second arming cycle, arming will be suspended.
128-7196 4 of 12 Page 4 SILENT DISARMING 1. As you approach the vehicle, press and hold the disarm button of your key chain transmitter for two seconds. The parking lights will flash twice, and the dash mounted LED will turn off confirming that the system is disarmed.
128-7196 5 of 12 Page 5 3 . T o return to normal operation, press and release the pushbutton switch any time the ignition is on. NOTE: Always remember to return the vehicle to the valet off position. This will ensure that the vehicle remains protected at all times.
128-7196 6 of 12 Page 6 3 . Within 10 seconds, press and release the valet/override switch, 3 times. 4 . Within 10 seconds turn the ignition switch off, on, off, on, off, on. (The siren or horn will beep and the lights will flash one time.) 5 . Within 10 seconds, begin to press and release the push button switch to set the tenths digit.
128-7196 7 of 12 Page 7 2. T o stop the alarm, press and hold the Lock or Unlock button on the transmitter again for 3 seconds. If the button is not pressed, the alarm will automatically stop after 30 seconds. Also if any transmitter button other than the Lock or Unlock button is pressed and released, the Panic mode will be turned off immediately .

OPERA TING ON AUTOMA TIC ST ART UP TIMER MODE The system has the ability to automatically start the vehicle every 2 or 4 hours over a 48 hour period.
