3 POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). T o reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
BEFORE USING YOUR 1 0 - SPEED HAND MIXER Carefully unpack Hand Mixer . W ash Beaters and Dough Hooks in warm, soapy water . Rinse well and dry thoroughly . W ipe Mixer with a soft, clean cloth or sponge. Never immerse your Hand Mixer in water or any other liquid.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. Be sure to unplug the power cord when the Hand Mixer is not in use. Make sure the Speed Control Lever is in the OFF position. 2. Attach Beaters or Dough Hooks. (See A TT ACHING BEA TERS / DOUGH HOOKS.) 3. Plug the cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
