8 Step 1. Push the batt ery cov er switch to the lock position( ), and remov e the battery cov er . As shown in figure 1. Step 2. Put the lithium bat tery into the bat tery slot. Make sure th e electr odes of the batt ery are corre s ponding to the symbo ls of the DV s hell( ).

17 The W i - F i is disable d by default. P r ess t he W i - F i button on the side of the D V t o enable it. When starting conne cting to W i - F i netw ork, the indicat or wi ll fla sh, and when a Wi - F i n etwork is connecte d, the indic ator will remain on, and the W i - Fi icon will display on LCD screen.
18 4. E nab le/disabl e Mute mode The buzzer is ena b le d by de fault. Under the V ideo or Photo mo de, pre ss and hold the Shutter button t o disable the buzzer an d indicat or to en ter Mute mode. Under M u t e mode, the ic on will display on the screen; pre ss and hold the Shutt er button again t o exit Mute mode.
19 5. Connecti ng t o H D TV 5.1 Connect the DV to H DTV via HDMI c able (optional) If you need t o transfer the i mage and audio to an HD TV for pla yback, insert the Com end of the HDMI cable t o th.

21 In Playback mode, pre ss the P ower butt on to swit c h betwe en photos and videos. When there are sever al photos or videos, press the W i - F i bu tton to select the photo or vi deo. When a video file is sele cted, pr e ss the Shutt er button to pl ay it, and press the Shutte r button ag ain to stop pla y ing.
22 In Playback mode, pre ss and hold the Shutter but ton , a prompt of del eting the fi le or forma tting will appear . Pre ss the W i - F i butto n to switch between d eletin g or forma tting,then P r ess the Power bu tto n to select Y e s or No, and pre ss the Shutter butto n to c onfirm and exit.
23 6. Connect ing t o PC 6.1 T urn on the DV and connect i t to the USB port o f the P C via the a ttached USB cabl e. The DV wi ll enter U - disk mode and the LCD will display as bel ow after con nection: Now you can vi ew the photo s or videos taken by DV on PC.
24 6 .2 In U - disk mode (P CU mode), pre ss the Shutter but ton to swit ch to web cam mode (P CC mode), and the LCD will displa y as belo w: Now you can start the web cam through application. T o return t o U - disk mode (PCU mode), press the butt on again.
