4 n Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when per- forming an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the cutting tool “live” and shock the operator.
5 n An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If extension cord must be used, make sure: a . 9 FEA TURES KNOW YOUR RIGHT ANGLE DRILL-DRIVER See Figure 1. Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. KEYLESS CHUCK Y our drill-driver has a keyless chuck that allows you to hand tighten or release drill bit in the chuck jaws.
10 OPERA TION WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you care- less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury . WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating tools.

13 OPERA TION INST ALLING BITS See Figures 6 - 7. n Lock the swit ch trigg er by placing the dire ction of rota tion selector in center position. n Open or close the chuck jaws to a point where the open - ing is slightly larger than the bit size you intend to use.
14 OPERA TION WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating tools. Failure to do so could re- sult in objects being thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury . DRILLING See Figure 9. When drilling hard smooth surfaces use a center punch to mark the desir ed hole location.
