10 — English TELESCOPING BOOM See Figure 6. The boom can be extended or shortened for ease of use. Remove the battery pack. Loosen the telescoping boom coupler by turning it coun- terclockwise. Slide the boom to the desir ed position. Tighten the coupler by turning clockwise.
11 — English PROPER OPERA TING POSITION OPERA TING THE TRIMMER See Figure 9. Follow these tips when using the string trimmer: Hold the trimmer with your right hand on the rear handle and your left hand on the front handle. Keep a firm grip with both hands while in operation.
