7 DOUBLE INSULA TION Doubl e in sulat ion is a concept in saf ety in elec tric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wir e grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts ar e isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation.

13 U N L O C K CHUCK REMOV AL See Figures 10, 11, and 12. Whenever necessary to remove the chuck for replace - ment, etc. use the following procedure for chuck re - moval: n Unplug your drill. n Rotate torque adjusting ring to the maximum tor que setting.
