ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER HARNESS (V acuum Kit) WARNING - Hot Surface: T o prevent serious personal injury when operating the unit as a vacuum, hold the unit to the left side of the body (Fig. 7). The muffler becomes extremely hot during operation and can cause burns.

MAINTENANCE AND REP AIR INSTRUCTIONS 17 REPLACING THE SP ARK PLUG Use a Champion RDJ7Y spark plug (or equivalent). The correct air gap is 0.020 inch (0.5 mm.) . Remove the plug after every 50 hours of operation and check its condition. 1. Stop the engine and allow it to cool.
CLEANING AND STORAGE 18 LONG TERM STORAGE If the unit will be stored for an extended time, use the following storage procedure. 1. Drain all fuel from the fuel tank and drain into a container with the same 2-cycle fuel mixture. Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than 60 days.
