3 About this microwave oven Microwaves are high-frequency el ectromagnetic waves similar to radio waves. 8 Operating instructions Connect the main plug into a sui table 13amp mains socket, make sure the voltage is the same as on the rating label (do not us e extension cables or mains adaptors).
9 QUICK ST ART This program allows you to cook food at 100% power between 30 seconds and 10 minutes by pressing the START button a num ber of times. For example if you want to cook food for 2 minutes. 1. Place the food in a cont ai ner suitable for use with microw ave ovens, put it into the microwave oven and close the door.
10 A UTO DEFROST The oven allows the defrosting of meat, poultry , and seafood . The time and the defrosting p ower are adjusted automatically once the wei ght is programmed. The weight range of frozen foods that c an be defr osted is between 100g and 1800g.
11 HINTS ¾ Do not cook, reheat or defrost foods directly on the turnt able, always put the food into a suitable microwave cont ainer . ¾ Do not cook foods such as meat from frozen, always defrost the foods first.
12 Proble m solving The microwave oven may c ause interference to your radio, TV or similar equipment. If it does, you can get rid of the i nterference b y moving the radio, TV or eq uipment as far away from yo ur microwave oven as possible.
