2 • PREP ARING Y OUR IRONING CEN TRE 1. Alwa ys place your ironing board on the floor in a horizontal position. (1) 2. Hold down the ironing board feet under one of your own feet. (2) 3. Use your hand to press the semi-automatic opening lever located underneath the front end of the board, then raise the board to the required height (2).
3 • USING Y OUR IRONING CEN TRE 1. Open the storage compartment co ver by lifting the catc hes located on each side of the iron rest-plate (6). 2 . Remo ve the iron, steam cord and electric power cord from the storage com- partment. (7) 3 . Insert the power cord and steam cord in the cut-outs located on the sides of the storage compartment.
5 • SUCTION AND BL O WN-AIR FUNCTIONS Y our ironing centre is equipped with a range of professional ironing features. In addition to an automatically heated ironing board surface, your appliance is equipped with fans providing suction and blown-air functions whic h ensure outstanding ironing quality.
6 • STEAM IRONING 1 . Set the iron's temperature control selector according to the type of fabric to be ironed (1 1) 2. The iron temperature control light will light up.
Recommendations: • Before you begin using the iron, or if you have not used any steam for a few minutes, press the steam control button several times in a row , holding the iron away from your clothes. This will enable any cold w ater to be removed from the steam-circuit.

d) Ironing board cover • W e recommend ironing the ironing board cover with a very hot iron before you use it for the first time. • W ashing instr uctions: mac hine-washable at 40°C. • Removing the co ver: 1 . Loosen the drawstring by pulling the fastener down ward (1 9).
1 . Completely unscrew the clamping knobs located on eac h side of the steam generator unit (22). 2. Handle the st eam generat or unit with care. Slide it gently bac kwards (23 - 1 ). There are stops to prevent the steam generator from sliding too far .
• Once folded, carry the ir o- ning board b y its legs, with the control panel facing downw ard (33). The board's bac k feet are fitted with wheels to allow easy movement. If you accidentally t ouch the board-opening lev er , r eplace the board on the floor and chec k that it is corr ectly latched.
