3 24 HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT – T o cut lower , slack en quadrant clamp bolt nuts (1), also the lo wer adjusting screw nut (2). Then tighten top adjusting screw nut (3) until desired height of cut is obtained. T o cut higher , re verse procedure. Re-tighten all nuts after desired setting is obtained.
23 4 T O CHECK THE MO WER FOR ALIGNMENT – Y our mo wer is designed to produce the perf ectly flat cut that is required f or a top quality green. Ridging or stepping between cuts means that the heigh.
5 22 REVERSING CUTTER – A feature of this machine is that the cylinder ma y be easily remov ed, re versed end f or end and replaced. This provides a new k een cutting edge. If the bottom blade is badly worn, this should be replaced at the same time that the cutting cylinder is re versed or replaced.
21 6 LUBRICA TION – Pre-lubr icate, sealed ball races are fitted to the cutter , dr um shaft, countershaft and front roller . No fur ther lubrication is necessar y to these 8 races. Drums are fitted with special self-lubricating b ushes and do not require lubrication.
