To Watch a DVD (if connected to a DVD Player): 1 Press SOURCE until “ DVD ” is displayed. If the screen is dark, and you are using a Rosen M10-compatible DVD Player , press the POWER button on the remote to turn on the DVD. 2 Most DVD discs begin playback automatically .

8 Rosen M10 Owner’s Manual INTRODUCTION Congratulations on owning a Rosen M10 WIdescreen Monitor! Here’s a partial list of some things you can do with your M10: · Display high-quality video images from DVD players, video game systems, and other video sources with composite video output.
9 Rosen Entertainment Systems Note: DVD players can be configured for either a 16:9 “Wide” image output or a 4:3 standard image output. Since the M10 has a widescreen display , any installed DVD player should be configured for “Wide”. USING THE BUIL T -IN DOME LIGHTS The M10 system has built-in dome lights.

11 Rosen Entertainment Systems BASIC REMOTE CONTROL BUTTONS 1 Open/ Optional Source Unit Power Pressing this button when the screen is closed will deploy the screen. This button also turns on some optional Rosen source units. (There is also an OPEN button on the front control panel.
12 Rosen M10 Owner’s Manual USING AUDIO BUTTONS 9 Speaker Sound Control When this button is pressed, Speaker Sound On appears on the screen, along with the FM frequency to which you should tune your radio, such as “ FM 87.7 ” . T o change the frequency , press the Left or Right arrow buttons on the remote control.
13 Rosen Entertainment Systems • T o view widescreen DVD’s, press this button until “WIDE” is displayed on the screen. This uses the full width of the screen. • T o watch “fullscreen” DVD’s or broadcast television, press until “ST ANDARD” is displayed.
14 Rosen M10 Owner’s Manual Adjust headphones here V olume Knob P ower LED P ower ON/Off switch USING WIRELESS HEADPHONES The system is compatible with wireless infrared (IR) single-channel headphones (AC3003). These headphones receive a signal from an IR transmitter built into the M10.
15 Rosen Entertainment Systems WA TCHING BROADCAST TELEVISION (ON TV TUNER-EQUIPPED SYSTEMS) Y ou can watch television on the system if you have installed the optional CV4000 TV T uner kit (includes TV T uner, antenna, and an AC3024 harness).
16 Rosen M10 Owner’s Manual USING EXTERNAL SOURCES Y ou may use optional external video games, camcorders, and other portable video units by connecting the unit to the auxiliary RCA input jacks on the unit. Y ou must remove the cover to access the jacks, and press SOURCE to select “AUXILIARY INPUT ”.

19 Rosen Entertainment Systems USING THE M10 AS A SECOND SCREEN FOR A ROSEN A10 SYSTEM When the M10 is installed as a second screen for the Rosen A10 system, the M10’s infrared headphone transmitters are disabled, and it will not respond to its remote control.
