4 The PDX-8’s light weight and compact design allows for comfortable performance and quiet response, even when playing rim shots. Before using the pad, tighten the head so that the tension is rather firm. Looseness in the head tension may result in problems such as failure of the PDX-8’s rim shots to sound or double triggering.
5 Set the trigger type and trigger parameters for the percussion sound module you are using. Be sure to make these settings to ensure that the PDX-8 performs properly. Below you will find the settings recommended for different percussion sound modules.
