MI C PL ACEM ENT - 8 - For the best performance, the Lavalier microphone should be positioned as close as possible to the sound source, without being subject to clothing rustle, gusts of air or dust. Also ensure the mic is pointed as much as is convenient towards the user’ s mouth.
- 9 - FI T TIN G AND CABLING - 9 - To fi t your Lavalier onto clothing and connect to your wireless system, fi rst securely fasten one end of your MiCon™ cable to the Lavalier . The RØDE spanner can assist you in this assembly . Next, mount the Lavalier into the provided lapel clip.
FI T TIN G AND CABLING - 10 - Rest the mic in the loop so that the wire encir cles one of the grooves on the mic’ s body . Once you ease off your grip on the wire, the micr ophone will be held securely in place. T o prevent tangling, clip the cable into the groove on the lapel clip.
- 11 - T o connect your Lavalier to your wireless system, securely fasten the corresponding adaptor to the other end of your MiCon™ cable. The RØDE spanner can assist you in this assembly .
INCLUD ED AC CESSOR IES - 12 - WA TER RESIST ANT POP FIL TER The pop fi lter is an optional attachment to your Lavalier which reduces plosives (gusts of wind noise caused by har d sounds such as ‘p’ or ‘t’).
- 13 - INCLUD ED AC CESSOR IES - 13 - MINI-FURRY For increased wind pr otection, a mini-furry windshield is provided with the Lavalier . The windshield is ideal for situations such as outdoor performances, where wind noise may distort the audio quality of the mic.
ST OR A GE & CARE - 14 - When not in use, always keep your Lavalier in the storage case provided. Close and snap the storage case for complete protection. Inside the case, you will fi nd a sachet of moisture absorbent crystals. Please retain these crystals and stor e with the Lavalier to keep the microphone in ideal condition.
