3 RULES FOR SAFE OPERA TION Safe operation of this accessory requir es that you read and understand this operator's manual, the operator’ s manual for the table saw and all labels affixed to the tool. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS n KNOW YOUR ACCESSOR Y .
4 SYMBOLS SAFETY AND INTERNA TIONAL SYMBOLS This operator's manual describes safety and international symbols and pictographs that may appear on this prod- uct. Read the operator's manual for complete safety , assembly , operating and maintenance, and repair information.
5 n Position the zero clearance insert until the key slot drops over the flat head screw . n The zero clearance insert should be flush with the table top. Adjust the four set screws as needed. (See Fig 2.) NOTE: If necessary , adjust the side positioning set screw found on the edge of the zero clearance insert to eliminate side play .
6 n Check all clearances for free blade r otation. n Reconnect power to the saw n T ur n the saw “ON”. n Slowly and cautiously raise the dado blade into the zer o clearance insert. WARNING: Never stand directly in line with the blade or allow hands to come closer than 3 in.
