Note ❒ If the power is not turned on when the op eration switch is pressed, check if the main power switc h is on . If off , turn it on. ❒ During the warm-up peri od (Less than 270 seconds), you can use the Auto Start fun ction.

Settin g one Original at a Time in the Document Feeder 21 1 Setting one Original at a Time in the Document Feeder If you set one original at a time in the document feeder, the seco nd and subse- quent or iginals can be fed and cop ied automati cally with out pressin g the { Sta rt } key.
Basics 22 1 F While the Auto Feed indicator is lit after an original is fed, set the n ext orig- inal. The original is automatically fed and copied. Note ❒ You can adjust th e time the machine waits before being ready for the next orig inal w ith the user tools.

Basic P rocedure 29 2 Manual image density If you requir e darker or lighter copies, adjust the image density yourself.
