4 DESCRIPTION AND USING CLEANING TOOLS DUST METER HOSE HANDLE How to check the DUST METER : To operate the cleaner with MAX power, keep the wide suction brush apart from the floor. • If the red indicator of the DUST METER appears. - Empty the dust bag.

6 HO W T O USE PO WER NOZZLE OPERATION 1. Turning on the Power Brush The power brush can only be turned on if the canister is also turned on (canister on / off switch is located on the main body). The power brush on / off switch is located on the hose handle.
7 OPERATION 5. Warning Lamp Your power brush comes equipped with a circuit breaker safety system that protects the power brush due to a jammed power brush situation. Common items that cause jammed brushrolls include socks, excessive threads, corners of area carpets, nails, etc.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE 2. Replacing the Power Brush Belt IMPORTANT: Before performing any maintena-nce work on the power brush, always unplug the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the wand. To replace the power brush belt, you must first remove the brushroll (see "Removing the Brushroll").

10 • Do not vacuum areas which contain moisture or water and inflammable matter, needles, pins, razor blades, matches, cigarette-ends, etc., since they may damage the cleaner or dust bag.
11 REPLA CING DUST B A G & FIL TERS REPLACING THE DUST BAG • Switch off and open the dust cover. • Pull the shutter of the dust bag. • Hold the cover while seperating the dust bag from the dustbag holder • Insert the new bag. NOTE: We recommend that the dust bag is changed when dust meter indicates RED or suction power is weak.
