H5i at a glance The H5i sy stem comprises the follo wing elements: • H5i heated humidifier • H5i Cleanable water t ub. Optional components include: • ClimateLine heated tubing • ClimateLine MAX heated t ubing • H5i water t ub. T ra velling tips When moving or tra velling with y our H5i: • Ensure that the water t ub is empty .
Setup 1. Align your H5i with y our S9 and push them together until they clic k into place. 2. Connect the DC plug of the pow er supply unit to the rear of the S9. 3. Connect the pow er cord to the pow er supply unit. 4. Plug the other end of the pow er cord into the pow er outlet.
Filling the wat er tub 1. Slide the latc h and lif t open the flip lid. 2. Remo ve the w ater tub. 3. Fill the water t ub (through the centre hole) with water up to the maximum water le vel mark (380 mL). 4. Ret urn the water t ub to the H5i. 5. Close the flip lid ensuring that it clic ks into place.

Getting star ted 1. Make sure y our S9 and H5i are connected and the water t ub is filled to the maximum water le vel mark. 2. Adjust the humidification le vel if required. 3. Fit your mask as described in y our mask user guide. 4. T o start therapy , simply breathe into the mask and/or press .
Cleaning and maintenance Y ou should regularly carr y out cleaning and maintenance as described in this section. Disassembling the H5i 1. Slide the latc h. 2. Lif t open the flip lid. 3. Remo ve the w ater tub. 4. Discard any e xcess w ater from the water t ub.
Daily cleaning 1. W ash the disassembled tub lid, plate and base in w arm water using a mild detergent. 2. Rinse thoroughly in clean water and allo w them to dr y aw ay from direct sunlight. Note: The disassembled tub lid, plate and base ma y also be washed in a dishw asher on the delicate or glassware cy cle (top shelf only).
