3 Section 2 Connection Procedures 2.1 Connecting User System Interface Cable to Emulator Station W ARNING Observe the precautions listed below. Failure to do so will result in a FIRE HAZARD and will damage the user system and the emulator product or will result in PERSONAL INJURY.

5 2.2 Connecting User System Interface Cable to User System W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE CABLE is connected to or removed from any part . Before connecting, make sure that pin 1 on bot h sides are correctly aligned.
6 2.2.3 I nsertin g Cable Head CAUTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Alig n pin 1 on the IC s ocket for an FP-100M packag e on the u ser sy stem w ith pin 1 on the u ser sy stem interf ace cable head, and in sert the u ser sy s tem interf ace cable head into th e IC socket on the user sy stem , as sh ow n in fi gure 3.

15 Section 5 Notice 1. Make s ure that pin 1 on the user sy stem IC socket is correctly aligned w ith pin 1 on the cable head before insertin g the cable head in to the user sy stem IC socket. 2. This us er sys tem interface cable is specifically des igned for the HS1527KEPH60H em ulator.
