2.2 Con necting User System Interf ace Cable to User System W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE CABLE is connected to or removed from any part . Before connecting, make sure that pin 1 on bot h sides are correctly aligned.
2.2.1 Installing IC Socket After ch ecking th e location of pin 1 on the IC sock et fasten it to the u ser system before solderin g. CAUTION After confirming the locat ion of pin 1 on the IC socket, apply epoxy resin adhesive to the end of the four projections at the bott om of the IC socket , and fasten it to t he user system.
2.2.2 Soldering IC Sock et After f astening , solder the IC socket f or a TNP -48 packag e to the user sy stem . CAUTION Be sure to completely solder th e leads so that the solder slops gently over the leads and forms solder fillets. (Use slightly more solder than the MCU.
2.2.4 Fas tening Cable Head CAUTION 1. Use the screwdriver provided fo r tightening screws. 2. The tightening torque must be 0.098 N•m or less. If the applied torque cannot be accurately measured, stop tightening when th e force required to tu rn the screw becomes significantly greater th an that needed when first tightening.
Fasten the us er system interf ace cable head to the IC socket f or a TNP-48 package on the u ser system with the four screws (M2 x 10 m m) provided. Each screw should be tightened a little at a tim e, alternatin g betw een s crews on opposing corners.
