5 Section 4 User Interface Specifications The user sy stem interface board incorporates a lev el conversion circuit supporting a low- voltage circuit. Accordin gly , when connecting the user sy stem to th e emul ator, pay attention to the signal delays an d the num ber of FA NINs and FANOUTs.

8 Section 5 Connection Procedures 5.1 Connectin g User System Interface Board to User S ystem W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE BOARD is connected to or removed from any part . Before connecting, make sure that pin 1 on bot h sides are correctly aligned.
9 5.1.2 Installing Cable Hea d CAUTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Alig n pin 1 on the IC s ocket for an FP-144F packag e on the u ser sy stem w ith pin 1 on the u ser system interface board, an d insert the us er system interface board into th e IC socket on th e user system , as shown in figure 8.

18 Section 7 Verifying Operation 1. Turn on the em ulator accordin g to the procedures described in the SH 7046 E6000H Emul ator User's Manual (HS 7046EPH60HE).
