Regency ® L234 Direct V ent Gas Insert 21 INST ALLA TION Attach Left & Right Backing Plate to Faceplate 7) Align the screw holes on the left and right side backing plate with the oblong openings in the faceplate and secure in place using a minimum of 2 screws on each side as shown in diagram 4.

Secure in place using 2 screws on each side as shown in diagram 1.

Remove any bird nests, or other foreign material. 3) Check for evidences of excessive condensation, such as water droplets forming in the inner liner , and subsequently dripping out the joints.

Regency ® L234 Direct V ent Gas Insert 33 MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE 11 ) Unplug the fan connector wires. 12) Remove the 2 screws that hold the fan bracket in place. 13) Remove the fan by sliding the fan forward and lift up and out. 14) Remove the ground screw which holds the ground wire.
