Chapter 1 11 Connections & Setup Connection: TV + VCR + Satellite Receiver 1. Connect your satellite receiver to your VCR A. Connect the audio/video cables.
12 Chapter 1 Connections & Setup Plug in the TV Plug the end of the power cord into the wall outlet. Match the wide blade of the plug with the wide slot in the outlet. Insert the plug completely into the outlet. Put Batteries in the Remote 1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the remote.

30 Chapter 4 Using the TV ’ s Menu System TIMER Menu Y ou must set the clock before you can use the ON TIMER or SLEEP TIMER. CLOCK SET The TV has an automatic clock setting feature that automatically sets the time from an EDS (Extended Data Service) channel when the power is turned off.
