2 Refriger ant gas infor mation IMPORT ANT : This applianc e is pro vided with refrigerant gas, ISOBUTHANE (R600a). When moving the appliance take care to ensur e that it is not ex cessiv ely struck or shaken. F ailure to do so could damage the appliance .

5 About the F reez er C ompartment The freezer c ompartment consists of four draw ers (Fig .2-3) . As with the refrigerat or , cer tain areas of the fr eezer ar e better for storage of c ertain foods. Ice creams and wat er ices are best st ored tow ards the rear of the appliance where it is coldest.

9 T ips on F reezing F ood • As with storing fresh f oods, suitable packaging, c orrect temperatur e and food h ygiene will enhance the quality of the food you ar e freezing . • Av oid putting hot foods int o the freezer . F irst let them cool until they reach r oom temperatur e.

Choosing the Right Location The appliance should be installed in a location wher e the ambient temperatur e corresponds with the climat e classication as stated on the rating pla te.
11 Rev ersing the Doors The doors of your fridge-freezer can be set to open from the left or the right. If you want the door to hinge on the left- hand side and open from the right-hand side , then follow the proecedur e below . This proc edure MUST be completed bef ore the furniture door is attached.

14 Elec trical Supply C onnection Y our refrigerator is intended as a permanen t installation. Connect the appliance to the electrical supply (220–240 V ~ 50 Hz) with the plug and lead, which are tted. Connections to the mains supply should be in accor dance with local regulations .
15 5. C leaning and Maintenanc e Cleaning Disconnect the appliance from the pow er supply before cleaning . T o maintain a high performance level, occasionally clean the condenser coils at the back of the appliance . Defrost the appliance regularly .
16 Y ou can also pour a small amount of water down the drain hole to clean the defrost drainage channel . Y ou should be careful to make sure that food packages do not touch the rear wall of the applianc e, as this can interrupt the automatic defrosting pr ocess and deect water into the base of your refrigera tor .
17 Replacing the Light Bulb Disconnect the appliance from the pow er supply before replacing the ligh t bulb . There is an int erior light in the top of the refrigerat or section. Remove the bulb housing co ver , by gently pulling the clip away fr om its slot (Fig .
