7 P ow er B oost Setting, P All of the induction cooking zones have P ower Boost available, activat ed by turning the control knob clockwise until [ P ] is shown on the hob contr ol display. Po wer Boost allows additional power to be made a vailable for each of the cooking zones.
8 The Grill / Glide -out Grill Open the door and, using the handle, pull the g rill pan (Fig . 2.9) or carr iage (F ig. 2.10) for wa rd. The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half .
9 The Ov ens The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the ov ens will work. See the follo wing section on ‘ The Clock’ for instructions on setting the time of day . References to ‘ left-hand’ and ‘right-hand’ ovens apply as viewed from the front of the appliance .
10 Multifunction O v en F unctions Rapid Response (Classic Delux e & Professional Delux e) The Rapid Response setting enables you to preheat the oven faster than normal . It uses the fan oven element with additional heat from one of the elements in the top of the ov en.
11 Operating the Ov ens Multifunction O v ens The multifunction oven has two contr ols: a func tion selector and a temperatur e setting knob (Fig. 2.16) . T urn the func tion selector control t o a cooking function. T urn the oven temper ature knob to the temperatur e required (F ig.
12 The C lock The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the ov en will work. 1. Once the cooker is connected and switched on, the display will start to ash. 2. T o set the time , turn and hold the Timer ( A) knob to the Clock (C) setting and at the same time turn the Adjusting (B) knob either clockwise or counter-clock wise (Fig .

18 Using Y our Induc tion C o ok er If you have not used an induction cooker befor e please be aware of the f ollowing: • Make sure that the pans you ha ve or buy are suitable for use on the induction hob. S tainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron is ideal .

22 Glass Fr onted Door Panels The oven door fr ont panels can be taken o so that the glass panels can be cleaned. Move the c ooker forward to gain access to the sides (see the ‘Mo ving the Cooker’ section under ‘Installation ’ ).
23 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed are av ailable from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated (T able 5.1) . F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is appr oved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .

25 Po wer failure In the event of a failure in the electrical supply , remember to r eset the clock to make sure that the timed oven con tinues to operate .
