TCCI -1 • 4 INTRODUCTION: The J-Com Tran sceiver Co ntrol Computer Interface provide s the appropri ate “level shift” of signal s between y our computer’s RS -232 COMM port and y our transceiver’s TTL computer cont rol conne ction.
TCCI -1 • 5 The blo ck d iag ram shown is a v ery general inte rpretation of the J-Com Transc eiver control Co mputer. W he n a sign al is sent from your co mputer it is in binary (a logic 1 or 0). The binary signal is betw een 3 and 25 volts f or a logic 1 and b etween -3 and -25 volt s for a logic 0.
