6 Follow these steps to mount the CB using the suppl ied hardware. 1. Using t he m ounting b ra cket as a template, mark t he posi tions for the three screw holes. 2. In each ma rked location, drill a hole sli ghtly sma ller than the supplie d large screws.

10 TRANSM ITTING We recommend you try recei ving transm iss ions before you transmit. 1. Follow S teps 1 –5 u nder “Re ceiv- ing Transmissions a nd A djusting Squel ch.” 2. Hold the m icrophon e 2 or 3 inches from your m outh. Then pre ss and h old down the micro- phone t alk b utton and s peak i nto the micro phone in a norm al voice .
