2 cassette recorder stops operating properly, replace the batteries. Warning: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them. Caution: If you do not plan to use the cas- sette recorder with batteries for a week or longer, remove the batteries.
3 USING THE RADIO 1. Slid e T APE RADIO OFF/RADIO to RADIO . 2. Slid e AM/FM/FM STEREO to the desired band. 3. Adjust TUNING to the desired station. 4. Adjust VOLUME MIN/MAX as desired. 5. Slid e T APE RADIO OFF/RADIO to TA P E RADIO OFF to turn off the radio.
4 PLAYING A CASSETTE T APE 1. Slid e T APE RADIO OFF/RADIO to TA P E RADIO OFF . 2. Load a cassette tape. 3. Press PLA Y . 4. Adjust VO LUME MIN/MAX as desired. 5. Press STOP/EJECT to stop play back before it automatically stops at th e end of that side.
5 To prevent accidental erasure of a ta pe re- cording, use a screwdriver to remove one or both of the cassette tape’s erase-protection tabs. This prevents RECORD from being pressed.
