3 3 1. R emo v e the inner cardboard disc from the supplied template/paint mask and k eep it f or later . Use the outer portion of the mask as a template to mark the cutout hole siz e and location f or mounting the speak er . 2. Use a dr yw all or k e yhole sa w to cut the hole.
4 4 2 Connecting speaker wir es Connect the cable leads from the outputs on y our amplifier to the input terminal posts on the rear of y our loudspeak er cabinet. W e recommend y ou use wire that is color -coded or other wise marked on to help y ou connect the wire correctly .
5 5 5. Connect the wire from the red speak er terminal to the amplifier ’ s positiv e (+) terminal, then connect the wire from the blac k speak er terminal to the amplifier ’ s negativ e (–) terminal. n Not es: A v oid routing the speak er wire near electrical wires.
6 6 n Not e: When remo ving the speak er from the w all or ceiling , loosen the scre ws just enough to remo v e the speak er . T his will pre v ent loss of the mounting t abs behind y our w all. Maintenance K eep the amplifier ’ s volume at the lo w position when y ou first t urn it on to a v oid damaging the speak er .
