Part 5 – A ccess ing the DVR menus To access the se ttings on the DVR push the Menu bu tton on the front of the DVR or o n the remote. This will display the screen in Pic 5.1. Use the ke ypad on the DVR or remote to enter th e User name and password.
Now go to RECORDING (gree n square in P ic 6.3) and hit ENTER, this will bring up the screen in Pic 6.5. Go d own to ENABLE REC (green square) and use the ENTER key to pu t a CHECK mark in it. Go to SCHEDULE (or ange square) and hit ENTER. This will display the scre en in Pic 6.
Notice: To Pla y Back the backup files, y ou need to install the FILE PLAYER program onto y our PC. Thi s program com es on the installation CD. You will need to connect y our USB backup device to your PC then run t he File Pla y er to pla y back the files.
